Ana Gasco is a Spanish percussionist. After finishing her studies with distinction at Real Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Madrid, she came to London where is is studying a postgraduate at Royal College of Music. She is supported by Mary Jobson and a Neville Wathen award. She is currently studying with David Hockings, Sam Walton, Alex Neal, Matt Perry. She has taken part in several masterclasses including Juanjo Guillen, She-s Wu, Frank Epstein, Rainer Seegers. Ana has performed across the world in venues such as Roayl Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Auditoio Nacional de Espana, Auditorio Nacional de Mexico, Museo Nazionale del Bargelo Florence. She was a member of the Madrid Youth Orchestra for four years and founder and member of the Spanish Percussion Group "Timarimba" performing and developing pedagogical work for children. As a teacher, she has been working with children and adults in individual and group setting and also in several percussion workshops. At the moment, she is training to work with babies and children between 2 and 5 years old.
